Chris Wood, Our Vice President of Sales, took a walk through our factory in Newport, TN this morning. This is what he had to say…
“While walking through the shop in Newport today, March 20, 2020, and trying to predict delivery dates and crew schedules, I couldn’t help but notice the multitude of timber species and breadth of diversity we’re currently managing. It’s impressive. Hats off to all the team for managing the details.”
- “Some of the (14) Timber species we’re preparing for shipment include Port Orford Cedar, Western Red Cedar, Eastern Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Eastern Hemlock, Bald Cypress, White Oak, Mixed Oak, White Pine, Yellow Pine, Borate Pressure Treated White Pine, Doug Fir, SYP Glulams, and DFL Glulams.” Stay tuned for an upcoming blog on the Port Orford Cedar species!
- “Some of the (7) T&G decking material we’re shipping includes Select Spruce 2×6 v-groove, Weathered and “toasty” 2×6, 2×8 and 2×10 random White Pine, 1×6 Beaded White Pine, 2×6 square edge Cypress, and 3×6 Laminated SYP. Some of the (6) textures on display include Circle Sawn and Weathered, Antique Hewn, Hand Hewn, Antique Weathered, Planed and sanded, and rough sawn.”
- “The (14) states we’re actively shipping these projects into this spring include TN, KY, GA, NC, VA, TX, OK, MD, AL, MO, OH, IN, PA and ID.”
