Nickel Developments built the Hearthstone Log Home within sight of Mount LeConte to remind all guests of the beauty and might that the ancient hills still hold.
The cabin is conventionally built with heavy timber accents, especially in the cathedral-style roof and ceilings. Serenity seeps from the antique-hewn timber siding that coats most of the cabin’s interior, giving the inside of the cabin a soft, otherworldly glow that hints at capturing the majesty of the surrounding mountains. The cabin’s exterior brandishes Hearthstone Log Home’s signature antique-hewn log siding, which is stained gray to blend in with the natural landscape.
Inside, the custom-designed staircase is regal in its beauty, winding both upstairs to a sleeping loft and downstairs to a walk-out basement that is used as a game room and movie theater. The granite counter-tops and custom cabinetry of the kitchen and dining area give the pristine room an authentic, rustic feel, while the many luxury beds and bathrooms are as relaxing as they are captivating, each trimmed in Hearthstone’s antique-hewn white pine.
