I could tell you that you should build a log home…but why? I have to be able to back up my statement, right? Well, there are many reasons why you should build a log home and I’m going to tell you the top 5.
I chatted with Steve Hall, part of our executive team, who has been at Hearthstone for 22+ years. I wanted to get his perspective on a few reasons to build a log home that are most important and relevant for 2019 and 2020. Steve works in Sales, Marketing, and Special Project (B2B) Management for Hearthstone, Mountain Timber Structures, and Mystic Timbers. He works closely with companies like Natural Elements Homes, Appalachian Log Homes, and Log Home Outfitters for manufacturing outsourcing. Originally from Newport, Tennessee, he made a BIG migration (15 miles away) to Dandridge in 1995, where he married his high school sweetheart. They just celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. He has been around directing and developing software before the world-wide-web even existed. These days, he loves helping run a small company that cares about the things they create (and will leave behind) in this world. He also helps his wife with a boutique vineyard and manages 3 children.
